The holidays are over and I can't believe that the calendar on the wall reads February. I have enjoyed painting several watercolors in the past few weeks. LaVillita is a charming area rich in history and is a National Register Historic District. It is now a setting alive with shops and galleries that continue the arts and crafts tradition.
The cornerstone was laid for the church in 1879. Several denominations have held services here. It is now an active non-denominational church and a favorite site for weddings.

Beautiful painting Marilyn. Congratulations on the show.
I am loving this one, Marilyn. The church was the site of my wedding 20 years ago. I am hoping you will make cards of this one!
This one is just lovely. You have such a gift. The freedom of expression...just beautiful.
Marilyn, it was fun to meet you and see your beautiful work. Maybe see you for the Spring Arts Festival.
Marilyn, visitors to the gallery just LOVE this painting. And rightly so- it's gorgeous!
Don't know that I've ever seen the "Little Church" painted in such an appealing way. I can't even get a good photograph of it! It's beautiful, Marilyn! I LOVE it!
Marilyn, I am missing seeing your latest work. Your trip surely inspired you?
Marilyn,
You are such a terrific painter. Your works are so impressive. You and Barbara Bendall are definitely the talented ones in the family. Take care,
