One warm afternoon Bill retreats to the back porch of our Fountain Hills home. Is he praying or is he sleeping? He has told me many times that he thanks The Good Lord every day for his blessings. I'm guessing that may have been the prelude to the nap that followed.

I'm a real critic when it comes to art and I have to say I like your work. You have a very certain style.
Wow. I'm sitting here actually crying (not just teary-eyed) while I look at this painting. You captured Dad's very essence. I love it!

Love all your paintings, Marilyn! This one, especially. You skin tones are wonderful and you do expressions very well!
Thanks for the positive reinforcement. I love painting my family. Next in line are my two daughters and then new paintings of my grandchildren now that they are adults.
Gollygeewillikers, Marilyn! This painting just knocks me out. Wicked wonderful.
What a sweet painting. Sounds like you are married to a wonderful man.
